Mother on the Mountain
Mother on the Mountain shows local mother to be Miss Kitty on Mount Greylock, or as I lovingly refer to her "Mother Mountain". As I hold space for this mother to capture a moment in time never to be repeated, Mother Mountain holds space for us to make art. Surrounded by water showing how fluid and fleeting each moment that we are living in currently is. This young mamma clinging to her belly showing us that holding on to her family is the most important thing to prepare for what comes NEXT

Artist Statement:
My work often centers around sexuality, sensuality and showcasing My own LGBTQ and sex worker community as models. My work asks the viewer to set aside preconceived notions and ideas about what sexuality inherently is. Currently shooting two photo essays "Isolation Connection" and "413 figure Studies". These projects showcase a stigmatized community as more than just their flesh, and delve into what it means to make a connection in the time of covid.
My landscape photographs, and fashion and glamour nudes taken in nature often focus just as much on the natural beauty of western Massachusetts as the beauty and vulnerability of the models who choose to work with me. I ask both subjects and viewers to contemplate and interact with the very land we create images on.
